Hello World!

For the last 9 years I have said, “I’m going to document our homeschool resources. I’m going to create lesson plans, curriculum reviews, some sort of organized system… to simplify the homeschool process for myself and maybe even for new homeschooling families.” Welp! Today is the day I stop just saying it, and put my words to action.

One thing I love most about homeschooling (besides the fact I get my 5 “babies” with me at all times. Wink wink.) is talking with other moms about our trials and errors. When I am able to introduce them to something they haven’t heard of but definitely need and end up loving… That makes me happy! I would be lying if I said every year has been sooooo easy, my kids are sooooo smart, everything is sooooo calm and not chaotic at all, and I know pretty much every thing there is to know about anything homeschool related. Hahaha! On the contrary, most of our years have been completely disheveled and mad yet in the midst of all that I absolutely wouldn’t change a moment of it. I would, however, change my system from the get-go (But really, would I? Because then I wouldn’t know now what works and what doesn’t for all ya’ll).

So with my youngest starting Kinder and after the 2021-2022 school year was the hardest year ever for us, academically speaking, I now feel it’s the best time to start this process in hopes of success this upcoming year and aiding other Mamas who are also lost in their homeschool journey. Even if just one thing I end up sharing can alleviate an area of your stress and worry that would be enough for me.. Let’s just hope I can help a little more then that though!
